Sighing as she unlocked the door to her office, Corazon felt a wave of familiarity crashing to her. She looked at the walls of her office, her country’s flag painted upon them by her adopted daughter, Kimmy, and her friend, Sophie. The Filipina smiled to herself nostalgically.

“Good times…”

Her…

Dr. King walked by her office door, not even noticing the woman until the sign on her door got his attention. He took a double take and slowly walked backwards to her door. “Hey aren’t ye the janitor?” If she was she was in for a long lecture.

She lifted her head and looked towards her door, “Um… Kind of yes. Is there something you needed to get cleaned up?” She took off her regular psychiatrist coat and got a more suited one for the job. “I’m sorry, I just got back here last week. I was gone for about half a year, are you new here?”

Watched her change into a different uniform and couldn’t shake the feeling his seen her before. “Jah I guess ye could say that…” The Dane had only been at the hospital for about five months now but he was already made head of the Physical and dental ward. Denmark gave out a little sigh and smiled “Vell since yer such a pretty lady, I’ll pass on the lecture this time. Ye need to clean up the physical ward at once! It’s a complete mess.”

”Well thank you for the compliment” she chuckled, pulling her hair up into a bun. “And thank you again for not giving me a lecture on it. I’ve had enough of that from my boss already” She opened a storage room where she kept the supplies and pulled out the janitorial cart. “So… Physical ward right? What’s the mess his time?”

“The mess this time, is some rotting corpses in a corner….” He shifted nervously at the sound of that. He didn’t want to sound heartless about the dead person but it seemed that peopled died here everyday. “I think the person tried to run but died in the corner or somethin’…”

She mouthed an ‘Ah’ as if what he just said was fairly normal, “Happens a lot dear, don’t feel bad about it. ‘s just the way it works here…” The nurse/janitor shrugged and pushed the cart along beside him, “Many people try to run from here, some do make it but those who don’t…” she gave that a thought, “Well. You know how that ends up”

“Some made it out of this place?” From what Denmark knew none of the patients had ever made it out alive from this place. If he could even he would try to escape this hell hole. “Wow ye seem really cool about this…” Most everyone else would freak but since she WAS a janitor she was probably used to it.

“Oh yes, I’ve known a few that have done so” she nodded, “It’s fairly normal, but there are certain… incidents… that have happened…” She pursed her lips in thought of a certain patient that Nurse Whip took care of. Her eyes lowered then shook her head, “Mm, so how many dead again?”

Her heels clacked sharply onto the cold tile floor as she proceeded to sit down her usual seat. Plopping on it she swirled around for a while before catching a flash of a picture on her desk. “Hm…?” she picked up the dusty photograph and blew it gently. “Oh…” It was of her and Kimmy, smiling without a care in the world. She stared at it sadly, not noticing the Dane coming towards her office.

Can you spread this around for me, please

peculiargirlhetalia:

I know that many people suffer from it, and I want you to know that if you ever need someone to talk to, I’m here for you.

I know what it’s like to want to disappear. I know what it’s like to think that nobody will miss you, or that not many people will be affected with your death. I just want you to know, that that’s not true. There are tons of people who will be affected. Your friends, family and people that you interact with… they’ll all be affected by that. I’ve tried to take my own life before, twice to be exact, but I couldn’t help but think of my family. The second time I tried, I had nearly been successful. If my mother hadn’t of gotten off work when she did, then I wouldn’t be here.

After I had been taken to the hospital and had my stomache pumped, and had gone to the therapist my parents would check on me everday. Before I went to bed, all through the night and even in the mornings. I had never seen my friends and family so shaken before. They wouldn’t let me by myself again. They still don’t trust me being alone, but I’m almost an adult so they have to give me my space.

I didn’t consider how much it would scare them to lose me, especially after the loss of my baby brother. So I want you to consider this. I want you to think about how many people you’re hurting. Whether you’re simply cutting, or if you really plan on going through with suicide. Think about all the people you’ve ever had an interaction with, they may not know you well, but they do know you. It will affect them just like it does your close family and friends.

I want you to know that people love you. There are people who care about you, that will do anything for you. No matter what you think, or what you’ve been told. There will always be someone there. There will always be someone who needs you. To hold you, to say they love you. There will always be someone who will miss you when you’re gone.
